What's in my bag?

I've always been obsessed with looking in peoples bags (not in a creepy way), seeing what people carry round and so I've always tried to carry round a lot of things. I mean I do carry round lots of stupid stuff with me and I live by thinking "WELL I NEVER KNOW WHEN I'LL NEED IT" and in most situations my bag proves very handy. My friends tend to call it "The Mary Poppins" bag because I pluck out stuff from everywhere.
So with this in mind and with trying to avoid revision desperately, I decided to draw my bag contents...

Then as another form of revision avoidance I decorated myself with sequins (my best hobby) (does this count) (can I put this on my cv?)

From now I'm officially on study leave, I have my first proper exam on Friday and I'm a bit scared, especially as revising and studying aren't my strong points. GOODLUCK to anyone also doing exams, I have a revision and college tips post coming up in the future. I've finished my whole graphics as course very last second, but I'm happy I finally magaged to get my project done and handed in.

Fashion wise I've bought NOTHING these past few weeks, and only dreamed of the above. Doc Martens brogues and creepers, uuuuuuuuhhhhhh and the cherry red mary jane shoes, uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh I was too scared to even ask my Mum about getting some, though she's always insisting I need summer shoes, apparently these don't count, and especially not at over £100 a pair.
What would you count as summer shoes?

Going with the bag hoarding theme I thought I'd also post up my recent find of my secondary school tictac box collection. (we all collected weird things at one point, right?)

Now I've moved onto buying and hoarding as many plain black pens as I can (see above) (this is partly why I never buy clothes as this is where all my money goes)
blablabla what else, the weather has been weird, I can't believe I'm talking about the weather, but compared to springtime toddler me, it's horrid outside.

Another great thing about finishing graphics was waiting to print my final pieces and spotting dead ladybirds stuck in a spiders web, I'm now keeping all six in my locket along with the dead scarab beetle my Nan gave me. A lot of people have said this is really creepy, but I think they're very cute and deserve to be preserved.

more pick n mix (best stuff ever)

The hills taken today, a few hours ago, just to give a sense of where I live. I'm currently blogging from window number 1 on the house! Hello.
I've been visiting badgers and helping lost lambs a lot, it's a good thing about countryside spring.

okay that's all my creative vomit for now!!
OH and I did an interview with Flower, that was really fun, I felt like a celebrity.
I hope you're all groovy.
Thanks for reading.
(I can never end with a nice picture, sorry about the tongue, I feel rude now)

  1. I used to collect the silver foil from round Kit Kats, I think that's probably a bit weirder than Tic Tac containers if anything! xxx

  2. This is so cool! I wish I had cool stuff in my purse other than my ipod and wallet! I always keep a lipstick and pens and paper and hand lotion in mine though. Good luck with exams! That's really neat about the Beatles one!

  3. you're the best collector ever. I can never summon enough energy to collect things or put things on my walls (just, your walls are amazing). I used to have tons of random crap in my bag, but for some reason, it's all gone and I feel a bit naked for it.

  5. The town you live in seems very beautiful and I wish I could visit it one day. I like how you carry a little bit of everything in your purse! You must carry a big bag around with you. ^^

My weird collection, when I was small, was probably frog items. I just really liked frogs. A lot.

  6. I love your post and I get really emotional reading your interview! You are so talented and young that I almost can't believe it!I'm a supporter of 'the Mary Poppins' bag, I used to own very small bags, but now I pick only the biggest ones from my closet, you never know what could happen to you, next time I'll bring with me a guide to Paris too, is brilliant!!
Your art and collections are amazing!

  7. Ah, I've seen a lot of these bag content posts but never drawn!
A lot of other kids when I was about 8 loved gobstrotter too, except... they called it "couilles/boules de mammouth", which I don't think you want to know the translation.
I don't have much things in my bags except: superglue, a marker (sometimes), money purse, my keys, sometimes jewelry I'm hesitant to wear but want to wear and sugarish food in case I have hypoglycemia stuffs.
Exams-talk gives my stomach knots :(
I want to say you've really been inspiring me to focus more on creative outlets. Usually I feel like it's not for me so why bother? Though I do like that... but then I can somehow relate to you. So, thanks for that!

  8. I am meant to be cramming like hell right now.
My brain hurts. Chemistry is confusing. None, of it makes sense, I am going to fail. Yep.
My bag is very similar, except I have fewer seets because my parents are health freaks, and sighs, I am permanently penniless.
And sorry for being inarticulate, but i really want some pick and mix now, and I need to get back to killing my brain cells with isotopes and RAM.
And the interview was fun, thanks :)
