I like to pretend I'm in a movie, dress up late at night, roll down hills and make zines.

Possessed

Maybe it's because I've been watching Psycho and Donnie Darko almost on repeat for weeks, or maybe it's because I've always found my bathroom a bit freaky, but I did some photos exploring being "possessed". It was very fun and I do get very very scared. I'm awful with horror films and though I love them, I can't help but feel nervous for weeks, walking round my house planning what I'd do if someone attacked me.

Watching tv shows like Spooks, Waking The Dead, Silent Witness, Luther, Ashes to Ashes (etc) haven't really helped either, and walking round my house at night I can hardly bare to look in mirrors or windows incase there's something lurking out in the darkness.

So as a kind if role reversal I took these photos as If I had been possessed.

And (maybe it's just me) (probably) (oh) but there's a lot of music I enjoy that makes me feel as though I'm possessed (not really selling it here) but beautiful piano pieces that I can drift about to and imagine there's some sort of ghost inside me. I guess it's a step up from imagining being someone else with music, just imagining being the same but controlled. (I really do sound odd.)

But if you want to try it, then these are some tracks that I enjoy:
Be careful walking about at night and please don't think I'm really creepy now!!!
(from the least scary person ever)

(I squealed- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH)

  3. Haha, I'm also very bad with horror movies. I assume that someone is waiting to attack me behind every door and in every closet, so I walk around preparing to punch someone if I need to! That's why none of my friends want to watch horror movies with me or go on haunted house tours with me...XD

  4. Congrats on 100! It's a milestone I reached recently too, which made me so so happy :P Haha

Really neat photos, I do the same thing after watching horror films - planning my counter attack that is.

  5. I am convinced my bedroom is haunted; the old lady who used to live in it before me died two weeks after we moved into our house. Also, my room is on the third floor, the window frames are really fragile and the windows themselves are so thin... being up that high on a stormy night with the wind howling through the trees and the windows rattling in their frames is so freaky!!!
In terms of your horror film fears, a weird trick I find works to de-scare yourself is to watch the special features. When you see how they made all the spooky things happen it's not so scary.
