I Wear Black On The Outside

I know it’s summer, I know I should be outside in shorts and sandals (?) and crop tops and skimpy clothes but I DON’T HAVE ANY AND I DON’T WANT TO AND I HATE SUMMER CLOTHES ON ME. If anyone wants to tell me what to wear then fine, I seriously think I need to invest in someone to dress me or a personal shopper. I haven’t bought any new clothes recently and I wouldn’t know where to start. This is why I could never be a fashion blogger, I am full of jealousy of people who know how to dress, have the clothes and even are able to go into shops and find things they like. Maybe I should start cropping my head onto clothes I find online…
But this is what I’m wearing today, in a non-conformist to summer way I’ve gone for all black. I’m not leaving the house hence why in some of the later photos I put some black lipstick on, I’m never ever brave enough to leave the house with it.


 
And I can never decide between hair up/hair down with outfits, I’m very indecisive.





That’s all I really came to say, apart from JUST LOOK at Dolce and Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2012’s collection LOOK, already I can’t wait for winter and I’m so excited to come up with random flowers and portrait inspired clothing pieces myself!

  1. Hm? I thought the first outfit was perfect for the summer, with its sheerness... Though the second might be too warm. I mean I just imagine it's perfect for spending days outside, reading and eating and drawing outside without moving much, yet still elegant.
    You underestimate yourself, I really think you've got what-do-you-call-it an eye for clothes.
    Also I've been dreaming of a skirt like this for years... Or are you wearing a white opaque petticoat under a long black petticoat?

    1. Thankyou- it's all one skirt, it has a white under layer bit. It's all one outfit I just took one photo by accident really wearing a velvet top and with black lippy. But thankyou!!

  5. The Dolce and Gabbana dress is beautiful! I especially love the corsets they make and I want one really badly.

  6. Summer is nice and all but I much prefer winter dressing... velvet and corduroy and wool oh my! So much more divine. Isn't it ironic that the one item of clothing I have been searching THE WORLD OVER FOR is that very shirt you are wearing... you know when you get an image in your head of an item you'd love but never see it... I guess Australia is a bit more limited in that sense. As for the black lipstick, it looks super!!! If I saw you walking down the street like that I'd give you a pat on the back. Everything here is beautiful. x

  10. ah god, you poor girl, I feel your pain, I fucking hate summer too. I'm soo glad it's the first day of winter here today. However, I'm also a little sad, because this means that winter ends in 3 months :( I hate the heat and I hate dressing for it too! Go out in the black lipstick, it looks awesome! Also, I personally prefer your hair up with this outfit :)

  12. wear black whenever! I do, even though it's pretty boiling where I live. I love the one pic fourth from the bottom, because the shirt and your eyes like match in a scary fun witchy way.

  13. I love the indecision in this post. It leads to interesting results, one way or the other. :) If it makes you feel any better, I just got a sheer black blouse too. Maybe I'll wear it with shorts. Or maybe not.
