Is anyone else having trouble with not being able to be followed/not being able to follow people and seeing SHARE instead of FOLLOW? PLEASE HELP.

The weather in Shropshire has been AWFUL- this was still in the afternoon and it was very very dull looking out of my window
And the poor new born lambs are all very cold (but still cute)

Fashionwise I bought some socks. I think they're possibly the cutest thing I own. (Topshop). And it's the only thing I'll allow myself to buy from Topshop. It's all very overpriced!
I bought a book of "1000 journals". It's dead cute, anyone who wants drawing inspiration or just a snoop into diaries should get this, it's great. The man in charge sent out 1000 journals to be passed around and drawn in, and there's some great stories behind some of the stuff in there.
I wore my hair like a Swiss maid
I reread Ghost World
I enjoyed a tiny bit of being outside (my house in the background)
I drew a self portrait and wore my sequined Morrissey top a lot, especially as I missed out on getting a ticket to his only British gig this year :((
I acted as if I was a new member of Sonic Youth.
(black lipstick is always going to be something I love but will never wear outside)
And woke up with cute 60s hair one morning.

I'm really impressed with your artwork. I'm sorry you've lost your follow butoon. Unfortunately I have no idea what might have happended. Have you gone into "layout" and had a tinker with the add on buttons?
ReplyDeleteCaitlin, your animation is AMAZING! It had me laughing (the music was the perfect choice!) but was also pretty creepy in a Little Shop of Horrors esque manner. Found your words about Topshop very reassuring as I have a long standing dislike of the Topshop cult - in fact my first ever blog post documented the reasons for dislike and I have a follow up post coming soon. However, like you, I do allow myself to buy socks from there but only ever socks!!

To get your follower button back, go to "Layout" on the side bar, where it says Posts, Comments, etc. And then click "Add a gadget" and then click "Followers." Also, if you're not getting updates for other blogs, unfollow them and refollow them. It usually works for me. Hope this helped! :)

Fab drawings! And loved the video. Also, don't you just adore Enid and Becky's contradictory cynicism. They're such girls! I'm still amazed at how accurately Daniel Clowes captured a pair of teenage girls.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're so active creatively speaking! You should think about printing "Hairstyles through the ages" or "Don't wink at me" as a pattern on some fabric (there was something in a Computer Arts magazine about that I guess, or maybe on Patterns Observer (blog))
