I'm not the most fashionable of people, I don't have any designer clothes, I don't follow fashion or know many fashion houses. Marc Jacobs will always be my favourite simply because of his use of my favourite photographer with his adverts (Juergen <3) but I know Chanel, and when I stumbled across an article about some of Karl Lagerfeld's latest work, I was inspired to add some extra twists. Images taken for use from The Guardian (thankyou and sorry).
He'd chosen heavens as the backdrop for his latest collection and it took builders five days to construct the Air Chanel plane which looks really cute and quaint with the clothing making references to 60's airline workers and strongly using one of my favourite colours-blue, the colour of sky aww airline- I get it!!
The theme was also reflected in the (what are apparently) signature Chanel skirt-suits given a retro air hostess makeover with wide, bateau collars and a duck-egg blue palette which I stole for some extra twists with my collages.
For me, the hair and makeup were just as brilliant as the clothing...
