My Photo
I like to pretend I'm in a movie, dress up late at night, roll down hills and make zines.

"Let's buy rollerskates!"

Rollerskates
There is nothing nicer than having friends who are as equally mad as you, and who come up to you on a Wednesday morning to drag you away to a vintage shop to spend £20 on a pair of old retro Rollerskates..

There is nothing ncier when the skates have character from their previous owner, and they fit perfectly so you start wizzing about...

Having been kicked out of the Market Hall (apparently Rollerskating is frowned upon in public places) my friend Harry and I trekked down to the gardens and Quarry near the college, touring round the plants and statues, ending up in the bandstand...

(the above taken through 60's Polaroid sunglasses which were also purchased with the skates)

Falling into the frozen grass wasn't planned...
I want to add in a photo of one of the plants from the border I fell into, so you can get an idea of just how freezing it was!

Taking time out on the bench, reluctant to skate.

When the sun came out and the park looked cute and Autumnal...

I would seriously recommend Rollerskating, especially if you're in need of freezing hands and a giggle!!

Have you tried any new activities this year, or done something really random recently?

  1. Aw I used to rollerskate loads when I was a kid. I remember holding onto my mum & sister when I first learned, like Bambi trying to walk again, haha!
Makes me totally want to go out & get some skates again. Now my bf lives in Bristol we keep doing random things, like taking of to Exmouth to sleep on a mates floor, or going to the cinema at 11am. I do like empty cinemas...

    1. That's so cute. Empty cinemas are the best, I went to a tiny little one in Austria and it was the best :3

But I don't know if my profile was right as Edie Pop,
because I got another blog since yesterday for my job as a painter and I don't know which profile I've sent (I'm getting dissociative identity disorder)!
Anyway I'm glad to be a follower!
