About Me

My Photo
I like to pretend I'm in a movie, dress up late at night, roll down hills and make zines.

Hello groovy Autumn music.

Autumn is a time for apple picking, boot selecting, digging out the scarf collection, cinnamon hot chocolate, curling up to feel good movies, and music. Lovely soft music for the cold mornings, and to dance around wildly to as the sun is setting on shorter days and the trees nearly naked, drop their last golden leaves. So go on, sway, boogie or dive into piles of the leaves with some of these songs...

I originally started writing a few songs out on a scrap of receipt before I even planned to put a playlist up here.

And even though the weather is being a bnit indecisive about what season we're in, it's definately time Autumn kickstarted, so lie in leaves and run around with old suitcases full of books.

I also have a bit of an obsession with decorating the back of my phone, so I've stripped off the summer daisies and replaced them with dried rose petals.

Groove on.

Smudged on purpose.

I've never really been one for wearing much makeup, but I have been realising you can have a lot of fun with it, I'd never ever go out of the house in some of my looks but it's fun to experiment. I was inspired by the Chanel a/w look of smudged eye makeup mainly because it takes something so simple and messes it around a bit, everyone likes to think of looking perfect and smudged makeup ruins the sense of that but still looks lovely.

Picture 1 is the from the Chanel catwalk, and below that various eye makeup I've tried over the past few months.

The past, the present and JD Salinger.

Greetings from College work centre, it seems so weird being here. I’m meant to be doing some hardcore revision but reading JD Salinger and updating my awful blog seems like a better idea. I don’t feel old enough to be here, I pass everyone like I’m in some kind of disconnected reality. I found my Primary school jumper the other day, it’s so odd to think about being that small and unknowledgeable. But we have to grow and learn, and discover how brilliant JdSalinger is, The Catcher in the Rye is hyped about, but I'm finding Franny and Zooey equally as fun.

Whoever reads this I hope you're having a nice time at school/college/uni/work in Sainburys...
